It is also the Asian country with the least population, only 515,696 inhabitants. The country’s capital is called Malé and is the most populous city in the country.
The Maldives is often known for its chalk-white beaches, colorful fish and crystal clear turquoise waters. And of course it is, the Maldives really looks like paradise.
