When I first looked at the regulator I was not sure what I wanted or what I was interested in. I went with Pernilla, my friend I took the open water course with, to our local dive shop and was just going to look a little at what they had in the store … Good vendors and of course we both went home with a regulator/first stage, second stage, pressure gauge and octopus as we got a good price. When we looked at the products in the store, I realized that one of my requirements was of course it should be easy to use but also lightweight to bring with me. Since my main focus not will be to dive at home/in Sweden in the future, even if I maybe will do so, was it very important that the first stage did good in both cold and warmer water which the Cressi regulator MC9 does.
I also wanted the second stage to be easy to use and lightweight and not so heavy when I pack my bags, and therefore the Cressi XS Compact Pro was a good option for me, as well as the Cressi Octopus Compact. While we were on the go, it was a pressure gauge for granted. Of the earlier equipment I have dived with I thought it has been difficult to see what it says, but with Cressi Mini Pressure Gaguge I think it clearly shows the need to read, both in color and with numbers wich is great since it´s so important!
